Every piece I create at Burned Wood Creations is made by hand, and some of my favourite work has been created especially for someone. Whether you have a specific design in mind or just a rough idea, I'd love to help bring it to life.

How it works

- We agree the design — I'll confirm the design, price, and timescale before any work begins
- Your piece is made — each commission is hand-burned onto natural wood, unique to you
- Delivered to your door — carefully packaged and sent with tracking
Have an idea in mind?
Your idea doesn’t need to be completely worked out before you get in touch. Tell me what you’re thinking about, including the subject, preferred size, wording, deadline, and any reference photos or sketches you have. I’ll talk through the options with you and make suggestions where helpful.
Design approval and revisions
Before I begin burning, I’ll confirm the design, size, materials, price, and estimated timescale with you in writing. We can make reasonable adjustments at this stage so that you feel happy with the plan. Once the design has been approved and work has started, changes may not be possible or could affect the price and delivery date, so I’ll make sure everything is agreed beforehand.
Pricing, deposits and payment
Each commission is quoted individually based on the size, detail, materials, and time involved. Your written quote will clearly show the cost of the piece, any deposit or payment required, the delivery cost, and the estimated dispatch date. If a deposit is needed, I’ll explain how much it is and when it is due before you commit to the order.
Delivery
Delivery costs depend on the size, weight, and destination of your piece. I’ll confirm the delivery cost with you before the order is finalised, so there are no surprises later. Every piece is carefully packaged and sent with tracking. Larger or particularly delicate pieces may need a bespoke delivery quote, which I’ll discuss with you in advance.
Timescales
Please allow up to 3 weeks from approval of the design to dispatch. Large designs may take longer and this will be discussed with you when placing the order.
During busy periods such as Christmas, it may take longer so I'd recommend getting in touch early.
Ready to start?
Send me your idea, along with any reference images, preferred size, budget, and required date. I’ll reply within 1–2 working days with any questions and let you know the next steps. There’s no obligation to proceed until you’re happy with the design and quote.
